The Board with Nail Staff got together earlier today to discuss some issues over coffee. (Starbucks Mmmmm). We were able to work out several of the old (and some new) problems/issues we have been facing over the past few weeks while having a very nice break away from things for a day. Work will resume tomorrow as we take a new approach to things and head into the mid-week.
We have added some new screenshots and text to the homepage. These show off some of the newer areas of the website and should help entice new players to join after viewing them.
We are hopeful that we can get things online within the next few days. We are having some difficulties and things are taking longer than expected. As the situation evolves, we will have more information for you.
We've been going through the adventure code and cleaning things up the past few days. You should notice that the adventure pages load much faster and everything should seem more solid and put-together. We are still working on some much needed things (like more opportunity to level up and battle) but we have gotten a lot of the "grunt work" done to prepare for those types of changes. Keep checking back at the beginning of the week for more on this and more.

We have continued our work on the new battle system throughout the day. We have also updated some other minor areas of the site and made a few speed adjustments to the newly streamlined Magica Mail system. We'll see you tomorrow with another update on our current Battle progress and any other changes/news.
We are keeping our work going on this important section of the site, and we have been making some changes in the database for the new system. Specifically, now weapons, spells, and psionics will have be using the good old dice system. 2d8 1d6 etc. Those people who are familiar with pen and paper RPGs will know exactly what we are talking about. :)
We are currently working on getting the battle system ready for the new adventure map. If things go well we should have it up and running in a few days. These battles will be the first part in a two part series. The first part of our new Battle strategy will tie into the new adventure system which is a totally new way to met and battle enemies. The second part will be a much needed revamp of the larger battle system and it is looking AWESOME! We will continue to keep you up to date as it happens.
Well, Magica Mail got a MUCH needed facelift today both visibly as well as behind the scenes in the core functions. In the shift towards more community features, we have made the Magica Mail work with AJAX speed and efficiency. Also, now you have the option to receive E-mail alerts when someone Magica Mails you! This setting can easily be changed at any time by visiting the Magica Mail page and turning E-Mail alerts OFF. Also, deleting, marking as read, sending, receiving... all of these functions have been updated and improved. You will love using our new Magica Mail system! In addition, the profile pages have been worked on and you can now instantly and easily add someone to your allies list. Also, you now have the option to pull up a random profile. Get to know your fellow Adrilanians! Also, we made it possible to choose the shade of text for your profile pages. Many people prefer really dark backgrounds and we have now made it possible to read the text on such. Simply choose to use "Light" colored text and everyone can then see your witty and wonderful profile page! And, because sometimes people don't bother changing this setting... we have made it possible for players who are viewing profiles to change the backgrounds and remove background images instantly using a button on the page.
