We made some great progress this weekend and we are happy to let everyone know that part one of our new battle system will be online next week. The first part of the new battle system will be attached the new explore and adventure pages so you will be able to fight small battles while adventuring! After this part of the battles get re-launched we will be continuing our work on the more in-depth version of battling. Be sure to check back next week as we prepare to roll out the new content.

We have done more work on battles tonight. We made a lot of the "support" functions for the mechanisms for calculating damage and chance to hit and all of that good stuff. Right now, it will take more work to stitch everything together and we will be working on that over the next few days. We thank you for your patience while we start back up on making this site better than ever, but we know you have faith that we will have something for you eventually. :)

Tomorrow the staff will be getting together to work on the site. We will also be staying up late over the weekend to celebrate the launch of the Nintendo DS Lite so check back tomorrow for some more news on our progress and maybe some pictures of our party. ;)

It's also a good time to mention that the BM staff will be taking a 2 week vacation the last two weeks of June to spend with family and to take a much needed break. We will of course still be checking on the site daily, but you will not see any new content during those two weeks. We will post more about this as soon as the dates get closer.

Since we have been focused a bit on exploring and quests lately we have improved the way we can create quests and other great features under the hood. These improvements will also help with the soon-to-be added and much discussed battle system (which we are still fixing up). We'll see you tomorrow for another update.

We have went and added two brand new quests inside the Explore map. Good luck finding and completing these new adventures.

We needed to slow down working on battles for a day or two while we finish a web-job that will allow us to keep funding the site. We will keep you posted as we have more information about what the battles will ultimately be like.

We are still implementing and developing on the new battle system. We hope to have more information for you as we continue to work on this.
